1 CORINTHIANS 15:19 IF WE HAVE PUT OUR HOPE IN CHRIST FOR THIS LIFE ONLY, WE SHOULD BE PITIED MORE THAN ANYONE.
While we do have hope for this life, we have hope for much much more!
The psychology of aging and mortality is fascinating. It can drive people to spend endless amounts of money on remaining young. It can create fear that paralyzes people from living life. It is powerful – depending on how you see it.
In my search on “psychology of eternity” I found many interesting articles about the science of death and what happens to your “consciousness” when you die.” While most psychologists denied the existence of Heaven, they described it pretty well. One stated (paraphrased) that our bodies die, but that our sensations and experiences live on and the infinity of time will soon be discovered.
It already has! Our true hope is in eternity with Christ as his co-heirs.
